Removed the electoral-vote counter

Too depressing, so it's gone.

Arkansans Support Bigotry

Voting without auditing. (Are we insane?)

Don't forget what happened in the 2000 elections. We can fight harder than we did then. We didn't know then what we know now.

"Did the voting machines trump exit polls? There’s a way to find out.

Black Box Voting (.ORG)
is conducting the largest Freedom of Information action in history. At 8:30 p.m. Election Night, Black Box Voting blanketed the U.S. with the first in a series of public records requests, to obtain internal computer logs and other documents from 3,000 individual counties and townships. Networks called the election before anyone bothered to perform even the most rudimentary audit.

America: We have permission to say No to this. It is our right."

Keep hope alive.

Edit: For some reason, the blockquote tag was not working properly, so everything between the "" is from blackboxvoting.org.

Update: It no longer matters. Kerry has conceded the election. BOOOOO I say.

The morning after...

Can we take a pill? Not under the new Amerika, I'm sure:

Here's a post I made on a mostly Republican message board, shortly after Florida went to Bush:

We've managed to survive 4 years of Bush. I suppose another 4 won't kill us.

I mean, lets look at what he's done for us, right?

» Our economy is on the rebound.

» There's no imminent threat of terrorism.

» Our relations with other countries are doing fine.

» Our budget is balanced.

» Our rights are safe and secure.

» We're safer now.

I mean really. And finally we have a President in the White House with convinction! The conviction to listen to scientists and take their advice seriously. The conviction to strike down useless social services. The conviction to decide when and where we will go to war with our next target. It's about time we had a no-nonsense, no-fuss president ready to kick ass and take names.

Where will we go? What will we do next? The world is wide open for conquest. But first things first...lets concentrate on home. Let's assure that all Americans unite under our shared family values. Let's assure that we're all thinking the same thought here. Let's make sure this America is safe, secure, and happy.

We may be two Americas now, but thanks to George W. Bush, we'll be one America soon.

You'll see.
